2013-Feb-16 Lamlifew School of Living Tradition

"Lamlifew is a hillside community of the indigenous B'laan of Malungon, Sarangani Province. It is here where the School of Living Traditions of the B'laan people is located, aimed in preserving the  traditions of the B'laan culture like tabih weaving, exhibiting craft, and as a research center for learning the B'laan culture. I was fortunate to be with the B'laan women at that time (and take note, there was "bong linol" or big earthquake at that time. Planning to go back here and spend a night with the people. Thanks to Miss Helen Lumbos, her mother (who kept saying "T'nap" during the tremor) and the rest of Lamlifew." - Berniemack Arellano of Habagat Central
